Sharpening a kukri knife?

I’m new to sharpening knives. All I know is I’m buying a Kukri knife tomorrow, and I need a simple "beginner’s guide" if you will to sharpening knives. I wanna get a pretty fine edge on it(high sharpness)

All I have right now is a "Hard Arkansas Stone." I know I’ll need lubrication oil for it as well, but I’m concerned about technique. What exactly do I need to do to sharpen the knife accurately and correctly? Thanks in advance.

How to sharpen knives?

I am looking into an opinel 6 knife. I would like to get a sharpening stone or two (or three) to sharpen it and other tools around the house. I’ve heard about Arkansas stones- can I just get a general purpose one or do I have to get three grades, if they do come in three grades. Another option would be to get a Lansky sharpening set, but those are more expenisve than a single Arkansas stone. Any particular items I should get and opinions would be extremely helpful. Thank you very much!

Which sharpening system is better?

I was looking online for one of the best sharpening systems for a low price. And on Amazon.com I found two that both look great and a two dollar price difference. A little problem though, one has more varieties of grit on the stone, and another is a diamond one with one less sharpening hones.

The Smith’s DFPK Diamond Precision Knife Sharpening Kit includes; a Coarse Diamond Stone, Fine Diamond Stone, Fine Arkansas Stone, Medium Triangular shaped Arkansas Stone for serrated edges only, a Diamond Retractable Sharpener, and Premium Honing Solution.

The Lansky Deluxe 5-Hone Sharpening System has; Comprehensive knife sharpening set for all types of blades
Features 5 sharpening hones of different coarseness
Color-coded finger guards for convenience and safety
Comes with comprehensive instructions and tips. (this one doesn’t have the stone coarseness in description)

I would like that if any of you viewers have either one of these sets would you please leave me a review pointing out each’s flaws and which one just puts a better edge on the knife. I will leave the links for both sets underneath this paragraph. And please don’t give me crap because I don’t use whetstones. Trust me I have tried whetstones over and over, but I cant get the angle for a consistent razor sharp edge.

picking between two knife sharpening stones?

I have found two different tri stones. One is a classic flat arkansas stone set, the other is a round space aged ceramic set. I have used the space age one in the past but it is quite a bit more expensive than the other flat stone set
have a look:
